Going back to Singapore i still have the book with me that i bought the previous time… The book is the Singapore City Guide from Lonely Planet… On my first visit it has has been an incredible help… Though i know my way around the city now, i still have it with me as a back up… The book has payed its money back several times already… Especially the city map is very handy to keep in the bag… Although i want to visit most places not mentioned in the book… I did browse the pages what would be great to visit for a change… Besides the general knowledge and practical tourist information about this Asian metropolis.. The book specifically explains the transport to and in that city, the sights, such as Colonial Singapore, Chinatown, Orchard Road, Sentosa Island, etc… Also the guide has mentions a number of walking tours, hotel accommodation with comments, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and not but not least a few excursions… A city guide with color photos and a some black-white city maps… Planning for a first visit to Singapore??
